DJ Mike "Hitman" Wilson is an influential American house music DJ, producer, and remixer from Aurora, Illinois. The Start: Wilson originally entered the music scene as a promoter, but he began DJing after filling in for a club DJ who failed to show up.  

Hot Mix 5: He built a close friendship with house pioneer Farley "Jackmaster" Funk. After filling in as a guest, Wilson officially joined the Hot Mix 5 between late 1986 and early 1987, taking the stage during a transition period on WBMX's Saturday Night Live Ain’t No Jive Chicago Dance Party.
